Activity Day Camp FAQs

The questions we’re most often asked by parents and carers.

Where are the day camps held?

Camps run from our base near Grantown-on-Spey, around 15 minutes from Aviemore. Full directions and joining information are sent in your confirmation email so you’ll know exactly where to drop off and pick up.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Our Activity Day Camps run from 09:00 to 17:00. We ask parents and carers to arrive a little before 09:00 to get children signed in and settled, and to be ready to collect at 17:00. We love to have a quick chat at drop-off so we can put faces to names and pick up any last-minute information.

When do the camps run?

Camps run during school holidays and on selected Highland Council in-service (inset) days. You can see current dates and availability and book online using the Book Now button on this page.

Is there a discount for siblings?

If you’re booking for two or more children, please get in touch before completing your booking. In many cases we can offer a sibling or multi-child discount – just contact us and we’ll talk you through the options.

What should my child bring and wear?

Children should come ready for a full day outdoors: comfortable layers, waterproof jacket, sturdy footwear, a refillable water bottle and any snacks or lunch (unless lunch is pre-booked). Please also pack suncream, a hat and any personal medication they may need. We have space on site to store bags and spare kit during the day.

What activities will they do?

We build the programme around the group, weather and time of year. A typical day might include BattleZone laser tag, target sports, problem-solving games and water-based activities such as raft building. Our instructors choose activities that are safe, fun and age-appropriate for the children attending.

Do we need to fill in any forms?

Yes. After booking you’ll receive a waiver and medical information form to complete before the camp. This helps us understand any medical needs, allergies or additional support your child may require. If anything changes after you’ve filled it in, just let us know at drop-off or get in touch beforehand.

Can I speak to someone on the day?

Absolutely. We really value a quick so we can say hello, answer any questions and make sure children feel comfortable. If you need to update us or check in during the day, our contact details are included in your booking information.
