What's included with bike hire?
Bike hire is ÂŁ28 per bike per day and includes your bike, a helmet, bike lock and suggested route maps. We're also happy to recommend rides based on your ability and the amount of time you have available.
Do you hire electric bikes?
No. We currently hire traditional pedal bikes only. We do not have electric bikes (e-bikes) available, allowing us to offer reliable, well-maintained bikes at excellent value for exploring the Cairngorms.
Do you have bikes for children?
Yes. We have a selection of bikes suitable for older children, teenagers and adults. If you're booking as a family, simply let us know everyone's height when booking so we can prepare the most suitable bikes for your group.
Do you have child seats, tag-alongs or bike trailers?
No. We do not provide child seats, tag-along bikes or child trailers for younger children. All riders must be able to ride their own bike safely and confidently. If you're unsure whether our bikes are suitable for your family, please contact us before booking.
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
Not at all. We can recommend easy, mostly-flat rides for casual cyclists, as well as longer routes for more experienced riders. For adult groups of 6 or more, guided half-day and full-day rides can also be arranged by request.
Should I book in advance?
Yes. We recommend booking ahead, particularly during school holidays and summer weekends, to ensure we have the correct bike sizes available. Guided rides should also be booked in advance to allow time for planning.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear, and bring a waterproof jacket, drinking water, snacks and sun protection. A small backpack is useful for carrying extra layers. You're welcome to use your own helmet if you prefer.
