Hostel and bunkhouse accommodation in the Highlands for couples to large groups
Accommodation at Cairngorms Activities
Whether you’re visiting us for a few days of activities or simply need accommodation in the Highlands, we can offer good value, comfortable accommodation for groups in our bunkhouse and/or bothy.
Our Glenbeg Bunkhouse (27 beds) and adjacent Glenbeg Bothy (6 beds), along with a 4-bed summerhouse that is used spring to autumn, are located side-by-side in a secluded and picturesque spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate, just 1.5 miles off the A95 Grantown to Aviemore road.
Peace and quiet is guaranteed, along with fantastic views and easy access to main roads, convenient for those hitting the NC500, North East 250 or Malt Whisky Trail. We welcome everyone, including couples and families, friends having a party, stag and hen parties, groups large or small that are combining their stay with our activities, cyclists, bikers, and car tourers.

Our bunkhouse is located at the top of the Glenbeg Estate and is a light, bright and airy converted farmhouse that sleeps up to 27 people across three rooms. Downstairs is a large, open-plan kitchen - well equipped for group self-catering - and dining/common areas with a range of tables to suit the requirements of how different groups choose to use the space.
Our bunkhouse makes a great base for large parties, such as Stag or Hen groups, or school and youth groups looking to combine accommodation with our on-site activities.
Our Glenbeg Bothy is a converted steading offering snug and cosy bunk-room accommodation across a single floor. The bunk room sleeps six people, with a guest bed available if necessary.
The Bothy also includes a spacious wetroom adjoining the bunkroom, a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area with the bonus of a wood burner for those cosy evenings.
There is also parking right outside the front door, with disabled access throughout.
